What we collect
- Chat content: messages you send to the bot and the bot's responses.
- Identifiers & contact info: name, email, profile ID/handle (e.g., from platforms you connect like Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, or a website session).
- Technical & usage data: timestamps, IP address, device/browser data, workflow logs, error logs, and basic analytics (non-sensitive).
- Integrations data: if you connect third-party services (e.g., Meta/Facebook, messaging platforms, CRMs, LLM providers), we may process data those services send to our n8n instance as needed to fulfill the workflow.
- Support data: information you provide when contacting us for help.
How we use data
- Provide and operate the Service, including routing messages through n8n workflows and connected integrations.
- Authenticate users (if applicable), customize responses, and improve quality.
- Monitor, debug, and secure the Service (fraud prevention, abuse, incident response).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data under these bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), and consent where required (e.g., certain marketing or optional data).
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Service providers/Processors: hosting, storage, logging/monitoring, analytics, and AI/LLM APIs used by our workflows, under appropriate safeguards.

Your information may be processed on servers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Chat logs and workflow data may be periodically pruned or anonymized. You may request deletion at any time (see Data Deletion).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access controls, TLS encryption in transit, and role-restricted n8n credentials. No method is 100% secure.
Your rights

Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Data controller
For the purposes described here, n8n Chatbot AI is the data controller.
Changes
